While interning as a designer at Lopez Design in Delhi, I worked on weekdays and travelled on the weekends. My fascination towards history gravitated me to the rich architectural heritage left behind by the Mughal dynasty who ruled most parts of northern India from 1526-1707.

An amalgam of Islamic, Persian, and Indian architecture, Mughal buildings have a uniform pattern of structure and character, including large bulbous domes, arches, slender minarets, massive halls, large vaulted gateways and delicate ornamentation.

I was armed with a Nikon D5100, Nikkor 35mm f/1.8, Nikkor 18-55mm and a variable ND polariser.
